We are always looking for volunteers who are passionate and compassionate. The root of the word “Passion” lies in the Greek verb paschō, or “to suffer,” and it must be understood that adjustment to life in a self-sustaining community may not be quite the 5-Star treatment (although “suffering” is an exaggeration) but the joy and revelation of such a beautiful livelihood—overlooking the Himalayas from a tent, unless you decide to build your own bamboo hut; bathing and drinking from the fresh water of the earth; eating food deprived of any unnatural additives; the beauty of community; being able to offer the gift of education and many more—will compensate for this by far.
Perhaps you are wanting to take some time off from school or work, are looking to escape a life confused by the system, or are looking for an adventure. This is ideal, financially, because airfare is the majority of funds you will need to raise on your own. As a self-sustaining community, daily life is free. On this website you can find an application form to apply as a volunteer. Feel free to click on our “Contact Us” page to get in touch for any inquiries, comments or questions.
We are also looking for donations. This may be in the form of a financial donation, a donation of books and other educational services, a contact you may think will benefit us, or any other means of help you feel called to provide. Once again, click on our “Contact Us” page to get in touch.
